 ith ten years design
management experience, Grant brings to your organisation significant experience
in developing processes that keep teams effective and efficient, protecting
both product quality and schedule predictability.
Some highlights:
- In 1998, Grant led the re-building of the development process system
in order to increase effectiveness and pass ISO-9001 audits. Taking
a lead in several audits, his team helped other design teams achieve
their deliverables while conforming to a certified quality system.
- In 1995, as part of a very large, multi-site development project,
Grant's project plan was recognised as 'best-in-class' in evaluations
aimed at raising the management skill level of the larger team.
- In 2000, Grant led the introduction of the Rational Unified Process
and requirements management tools into the business unit in which
he was working. These initiatives were aimed at lowering the cost-of-ownership
of processes, conforming to industry standards and facilitating greater
control in multi-site requirements management.
